Yogurt Facial Mask

Hi Everyone,

I've always wanted to create my own facial mask so I decided to try one out. I chose the yogurt mask especially because it is used to help prevent and reduce wrinkles in the face. The amazing thing is that this mask serves for multiple purposes as well. The lactic acid in the yogurt mask cleanses the skin, unclogs pores, reduces fine lines and wrinkles and even moisturizes dry skin.

So if you are interested in trying the yogurt facial mask here is what you need to know...

What you need:

  • Yogurt
  • Lemon Juice (olive oil or vinegar can also be substituted)
  • Measuring Cup
  • Small Bowl and Spoon for mixing

What to do:

1. Mix together 1/3 cup of plain yogurt and 1/4 cup of lemon juice.
(If after mixing the mixture is too thick add a little more lemon juice or if the mixture is too thin then add more yogurt).

2. Apply this mask to your face and keep it on for 20 minutes.
(At first the mask will feel creamy but no worries after a few minutes it will begin to harden!)

3. After 20 minutes has past, take a damp cloth and gently wipe the mask off of your face.

4. Seal the remainder of your mixture and refrigerate for further use.
(Do not exceed refrigeration for longer than a week)

This facial mask is super simple but your skin will feel smoother and rejuvenated!

Hope this works for you!
